Service Learning Criteria:

Ø Must involve at least 10 hours of service

Ø No retroactive service (Start date: November 2007 – May 11th 2008), but all other hours required for other organization memberships (scouts, Honor Society, church, etc,) can apply.

Ø Students may work alone or with others

Ø No babysitting for siblings or family members is allowed, but babysitting for an organization or the larger community is ok

Ø Chore assistance for seniors is allowed

Ø Volunteering for PLMS or other local schools is ok for maximum 3 hours

Ø Relay for Life and 30 Hour Famine is ok, but only for 5 of the hours

Ø Church mission trips are ok

Ø You may do a variety of activities to equal 10 hours. Reflections are required for each activity. Please try to include a photo from each place you go.

All service choices must be approved by Mrs.Knutson/Mr.Ensey by Tuesday, December 4, 2007.

Ø Completed poster (includes typed reflections and photos) are due on or before May 11^th 2008.
