This is just another normal day in the world of Gabby Wiess. She might have to learn a few things, but gets quite a bit of help from her dad’s girlfriend in Nora Raleigh Baskin’s novel, What Every Girl (Except Me) Knows.

Gabby lost her mother when she was very little, and hasn’t been able to speak to her dad. Now that her father is engaged to Cleo though, things are changing. She starts to open up more, finds a new friend, and is overall happier.
