Review by Sarah

The opening paragraph grabs the reader’s attention.

A murder is being planned. A wonderful architecture is going to be destroyed. Tommy, Calder, and Pedra need to save William Lloyd Wright’s wonderful Robie house before it is torn apart. The Wright 3 drags you into the house that will soon be destructed.

The title and author are worked in naturally

Tommy, Calder, and Pedra have set there minds on saving a work of art. In The Wright 3, the kids are forced into a mystery of the beautiful artwork. As the three find out plans for the fate of the Robie House, they are more and more desperate to save it.

The overall idea and plot are discussed, without giving away the ending

As the kids try to rescue the house, strange things start to happen. Coincidences have a certain meaning that point to solution, strange figures are appearing and dropping hints. The house itself seems to talk to the kids and understand what they think. The kids are being scared out of their wits but cannot give up. Can they do it? Is it possible to help keep the Robie house up and alive?

Describe one exciting incident in detail

One part of the book that I clearly remember was the part where Pedra is in her room looking out the window at a train, then sees the mysterious person drop the copy of the book The Invisible Man. Then Pedra goes and finds Calder and together they get the book from the train track. That part started to make me wonder what would happen and why. I started to get really sucked into the intensity of this mystery.

End the review with your opinion and recommendation

If you are a fan of mystery, action, and suspense, you would like this book. It’s an easy book to understand and it paints a vivid image in your mind. It’s a wonderful book, but in some parts it’s kind of strange.
