Spring

Review by Ryan
Who is Endymion Spring? What is Endymion Spring? Is he boy with a fantastical secret? Is it a book that holds the key to ultimate knowledge? I know, but since you don’t you’ll just have to find out… in Matthew Skelton’s Endymion Spring
When Endymion Spring steals mystical dragon-hide paper from the money hungry partner of his adopted father his life gets turned upside down. He must escape from his home and the only life he had ever known. Unbeknownst to young Endymion hundreds of years later another boy, Blake, finds the mystical dragon-hide only now it is in the form of a blank book. The title of this magical book… Endymion Spring.
Endymion has to do many things to escape disaster. Such as in one chapter he must escape from Faust (his adopted father’s partner) through a crowd during a parade. Heart pounding he ducks and spins through any opening he can find in this bustling crowd. Too frightened to look he rushes onward. Suddenly, he is grabbed by strong arms. Panicking he struggles to free himself. When he glances at his assailant he is overcome by shock. It is only his friend who came looking for him as he was worried for him.
If you like fantasy books with lots of suspense and mystery that leaves you wanting more then you will love this book. Only one thing though, you better be prepared for some massive insomnia because you will not want to put this book down once you start it.
