being asked to leave the lab.

preparation techniques in the written lab plan and recipes. Students who
have not completed work plan may not participate in labs.

Understands the meaning of maison place (clean your work spaces as
you go) and to follow all sanitation rules.

Remembers to wash hands before beginning lab and at any time after
using the bathroom, blowing nose, attending to bodily functions or cleaning
tasks.

Lab members must try a small bite or portion of foods prepared.

Lab area is clean and ready for next class group. You should be
ready to attend your next class on time.
COOKING REQUIREMENTS
MID-TERM
Working with your parent you will responsible to plan
and prepare six (6) meals following the food pyramid guidelines. Student
will be responsible for all meal and kitchen cleanup.
A typed and creative presentation of this project will
be required. A parent note will detail how student performed cooking and
cleaning duties.
FINAL
- Prepare, by yourself, one complete family meal.
Parent signature required.
- Your parents’ date night out. You will be your
parents’own “personal chef”
Your duties are as follows:
The chef is responsible for planning the menu, shopping for ingredients,
setting the table, preparing and serving the food, clearing the table and
cleaning the dishes and kitchen.
Parents’ responsibility:
Enjoying the personal chef’s meal and writing a “restaurant review”. This
gives your young chef the opportunity to demonstrate his/her growing
culinary skills.
