Our Aim

Mrs. Anderson and Mr. Burgard aim to unlock enthusiasm for science, by enabling students to improve scientific thinking, learn through inquiry, and master content, so they can understand their world and the improve quality of life.

This year will help students to understand themselves and their world in new and important ways. The focus of the class will be placed on using the scientific method in all we do –  from conducting experiments based on the curriculum to analyzing data and testing theories to improve student learning and their learning environment. Their input and participation will be vital in order to accomplish our mission.

Together, everyone improves!

We will focus on improving content knowledge, scientific thinking and inquiry learning. Each is an important support to the other, as we work towards empowering students to improve the quality of life for themselves and the world   around them.
