Last call for
Calligraphy Club…please sign up in the office today. The class
begins tomorrow, Wednesday after school in the Library.
Report Cards: Those
students who still have outstanding fines, you will need to pay
the bookkeeper in order to receive your report card. Those
students who were absent on Friday, you may pick your report
card up in the office.
After the
Variety Show last week there was a fair amount of interest in
having an opportunity to order a Staff Infection T-shirt.
Here’s your chance to support the band and have a Staff
Infection shirt of your own. Order forms are available in the
office. The deadline is this Friday so don’t waste time.
The Earth Service
Corps is continuing work on the inner courtyard this Wednesday
after school. If you want to make a difference and beautify
your campus we would love to have you join us. You also get a
snack every week and it is a great way to earn those community
service hours you need for Honor Society. That’s right; B-11 .

hours (May 16th is right around the corner). See Mr.
Abraham if you have any questions.
Gymnasts! Those of
you who have not yet returned your clean leo to Mrs. Booth must
do so this week! Please drop off your leo to Mrs. Booth,
classroom B-6, and make that your name is checked off the list!

Reminder: Honor
Society service hours are due May 16th. This is a
change from what the forms say. Check out the Honor Society
poster for service opportunities and your hour totals.

Lake Track Team News
The 2008 PLMS Track Team starts the first week right after
Spring Break!
7th & 8th Graders start on Monday, April
14.
6th Graders start on Wednesday, April 16.
A turnout schedule for the season is now available in the
office.
Go to the ASB website and click on track to get more specific
information.
Be sure you are on the eligibility list.
This year’s coaches are:
Ms. Hardy, Ms. Booth, Ms. Elliot, Ms. Ramacciotti, Ms. Bluhm,
Ms. Van More,
Mr. Cress, Mr. Amoroso, Mr. Hanken, & Mr. Jewell
Do you want to buy a track sweatshirt?
Order forms are in the office.
All orders need to be turned in by end of the week after Spring
Break.
Socials Information
This Friday will be socials.
7th grade will be in the Commons during period 2 & 3.
8th grade will be in the Commons during period 5 & 6.
6th grade will be in the Gym during period 5 & 6.
Other options that you can sign up for are:
Cookie College: cookie baking in the cooking room. Must sign
up. Limited number of kids.
Library activities – please sign up.
Bingo in the Cafeteria. You don’t need to sign up for this.
There will even be prizes!
Field games (weather permitting). You don’t need to sign up for
this.
Student store will be open during socials, not lunch. Jamba
Juice will be for sale!
